[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군은 토성면보건지소외 4개소에 대하여 그린리모델링 사업추진으로 오래된 보건기관이 친환경 공공건축물로 탈바꿈한다고 밝혔다.

군은 2022년 국토교통부에서 주관하는 '공공건축물 그린 리모델링' 사업으로 7억4천만원(국비 70％, 지방비 30％)의 사업비를 확보하였고, 사업대상 보건기관은 토성면보건지소, 명파보건진료소, 어천보건진료소, 성천보건진료소, 용암보건진료 등 5개 보건기관을 대상으로 에너지 성능과 실내 공기질 등을 개선하는 그린 리모델링 사업을 진행할 계획으로 현재 실시설계용역을 마치고, 계약을 추진 중에 있으며 이 달 말경에 본격적인 공사를 추진할 예정이라고 했다.

한편 토성면보건지소 등 진료를 위해 (구)토성면사무소 및 인근 마을회관, 경로당에 임시보건지소 및 임시보건진료소를 마련하고 공사 기간동안 마을주민의 진료 공백이 없도록 노력할 계획이며, 공공건축물 그린 리모델링 사업은 취약계층이 이용하는 보건기관의 노후화된 건축물을 대상으로 건축물 성능 요소(단열, 창호, 열원설비)를 개선하는 데 목적이 있다고 전했다.

군 관계자는 "온실가스 감축과 보건기관 환경개선으로 군민들의 건강 보호와 만족도 향상에 기여하겠다"며 "앞으로도 에너지 효율을 최대화하고 쾌적한 환경조성을 위해 총력을 기울이겠다"고 말했다.
