[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4일, 화천군은 ‘2022년 강소농 육성사업’을 공고하고, 오는 27일까지 신청을 접수 중이라고 밝혔다. 

강소농 육성사업은 미래 성장 가능성을 보유하고, 경영달성 목표를 위해 노력 중인 중소규모 전업농 미만 농업인을 집중적으로 지원하는 것이 목적이며, 희망하는 전업농을 포함해 청년 농업인, 귀농자 등 신규 농업인이면 신청할 수 있다고 했다. 

신청 시 각 품목별 분류기준을 참고해 본인이 해당 기준에 부합되는지 반드시 확인해야 하며, 강소농 육성사업에는 농업인 뿐 아니라 농식품 가공업체, 농촌자원을 활용하는 농촌 사업장도 참여할 수 있다고 전했다. 

선정 농업인에게는 경영개선 역량강화를 위한 전문교육을 비롯해 경영진단, 전문기술 맞춤 컨설팅, 자율 모임체 활동지원, 농업기술 정보제공 등의 혜택이 주어진다고 했다.

화천군은 강소농 육성사업 외에 올해도 강력한 농업분야 진흥정책을 유지하고 있으며, 모든 분야에서 70% 수준 이상의 보조금 비율이 적용되고 있고, 도내 최대 규모인 농기계 임대사업소 7곳도 영농철을 앞두고 가동준비에 한창이고, 모내기철과 수확철에는 여성과 고령자, 장애인 농업인을 위한 영농대행 서비스도 이어나간다는 계획이라고 전했다.

최문순 화천군수는 “농업인들이 코로나19 위기를 극복하고, 강력한 경쟁력을 가질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
