[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 사업자의 방지시설 설치비 부담을 완화하고 미세먼지 발생을 줄이기 위해 2억 2,500만원의 예산을 들여 「2022년 소규모 사업장 방지시설 설치 지원사업」을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

지원대상은 「대기환경보전법」시행령 제13조에 따른 4~5종 사업자 중「중소기업기본법」시행령 제3조 제1항에 따른 중·소기업 사업장이며, 동해시는 이 중 노후방지시설 운영 등 우선순위가 높은 사업장을 먼저 지원하고, 예산 여건에 따라 대기배출시설 1~3종 사업장도 추가 지원할 방침이라고 전했다.

지원금액은 방지시설 설치비 한도 내에서 실제 소요비용의 90%로, 방지시설 용량별 차등지원 되며, 사물인터넷은 의무적으로 부착해야하고, 또, 이번 사업은 저녹스버너를 설치할 경우에도 지원할 수 있으며, 대상시설은 중소기업, 비영리 법인·단체, 업무·상업용 건축물, 공동주택에 설치된 보일러가 해당한다고 했다.

접수기간은 22일부터 오는 3월 31일까지로, 시청 환경과에 사업 신청을 하게 되면 환경전문기관이 서류검토와 현장 조사를 거쳐 사업승인을 통보하게 된다고 했다.

사업승인을 받은 사업장은 환경전문공사업체와 계약 후 3개월 이내 방지시설을 설치 완료하고, 환경전문공사업체에서 보조금 지급 청구를 하면 된다고 했다.

지원받은 시설은 3년 이상 의무운영 해야 하며, 기간 내 폐업, 이전 등으로 시설 미가동 시 사용 기간에 따라 보조금이 환수된다. 또, 최근 5년 이내 정부로부터 지원받은 방지시설, 3년 이내 설치한 방지시설, 신규시설은 지원대상에서 제외 된다고 했다. 

박상형 환경과장은 “앞으로도 미세먼지 저감 사업을 통해 정부의 환경정책에 부응하는 한편, 쾌적하고 안전한 생활환경을 개선을 위해 최선을 다해나갈 방침”이라고 밝혔다.
