또한, 농기계에 대한 융자금이 상환 완료되고, 해당 농기계 최종 소유기간이 보조금 신청일 전 6개월 이상이어야 하며, 보유 수량에 상관없이 1대만 지원한다고 했다. 

조기폐차를 희망하는 농업인(농업법인 포함)은 해당 농기계의 규격, 모델, 제조번호를 알 수 있는 자료와 신분증, 보조금통장 등을 준비하여 오는 7월 말까지 각 읍면동 행정복지센터에 신청하면 된다고 했다.
