[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 26일 양주시 회천노인복지관은 타래박㈜에서 메밀전병과 만두 150인분을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

타래박은 직장·공장새마을운동양주시협의회와 인연이 닿아 작년부터 지금까지 양주시 회천노인복지관에 지속적인 후원활동을 하고 있다고 했다. 

박성철대표는 “코로나19로 인하여 설 명절에도 가족과 만나지 못하는 어르신들이 많이 계실 수 있어 어르신들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 만두를 기부하기로 결정했다”며 필요한 어르신들게 잘 전달해 달라며 소감을 밝혔다. 

양주시 회천노인복지관 주민정 관장은 “지난번에 이어 양주시 어르신들을 위해 다양한 노력을 해주신 박성철 타래박 대표님께 진심으로 감사드리며, 앞으로도 지역 어르신들을 위해 앞장서는 노인복지관이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다. 

한편 주식회사 타래박은 양주시 백석읍에 위치하고 있으며, 다양한 기부활동을 통하여 지속적으로 이웃사랑을 실천하고 있다고 밝혔다.
