[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 김년기 제17대 강릉시 부시장이 38여 년의 공직생활을 마감하고 명예퇴임한다고 밝혔다.

퇴임식은 14일 오후 3시 시청 2층 대회의실에서 개최될 예정이며, 1982년 공직생활을 시작한 김년기 부시장은 강릉시 올림픽운영과장, 기획예산과장, 행정국장, 문화관광국장 등 시정의 주요 현안업무를 담당하며 요직을 두루 역임했다고 전했다. 

김년기 부시장은“지역의 일꾼으로써 동료, 후배들과 함께했던 시간들이 너무나도 소중하고 감사하게 느껴지며, 그동안 해왔던 것처럼 자부심과 사명감으로 강릉시의 밝은 미래를 위해 앞장서 달라”고 말했다.
