이번에 가평군이 신청한 사업은 목동근린공원 전망대 설치공사(28억원), 장애인재활(체육) 지원센터 건립(30억원), 군도8호선(수리재)도로 확포장공사(40억원), 농어촌도로 조종101호선 확포장공사(31억원), 청평역세권 중로2-5호선 개설(10억원), 청평5리 배수펌프장 내수배제시설물 구축 및 정비사업(11억원) 등 6개 사업이라고 했다.

목동근린공원사업은 펜션 등 다수의 관광객이 방문하고 있는 북면 도시공원을 관광명소로 조성키 위해 스카이타워 설치 등을 추진하는 사업으로 그동안 사업비 부족으로 어려움을 겪었다고 전했다.
