[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일, 평창군은 제2차 자연재해저감종합계획에 대하여 행정안전부 승인을 받아 수립공고를 완료하였다고 밝혔다.

자연재해저감 종합계획은 지역 여건을 반영해 자연재해 위험을 줄이기 위해 수립하는 방재 분야 최상위 종합계획으로, 방재성능 수준향상 및 지역여건에 맞는 재해예방 체계화를 통해 군민의 생명과 재산을 보호를 목적으로 하며, 군은 기존 1차 계획 수립 후 지역여건 변화를 반영한 재수립용역을 지난 2018년부터 추진해, 2020년에 군의회의견청취 및 주민공청회를 거쳐 2021년 8월 행정안전부 심의를 완료하고, 12월 최종승인 받았다고 했다.

이번 종합계획에서는 평창군 전역에 이르는 1,463.92㎢(1읍 7면)에 대한 하천, 내수, 사면, 토사, 가뭄, 대설 등 7개 재해유형 자연재해에 대해 지역적 특성에 따른 위험 요인을 종합적으로 조사·분석해 세분화된 저감대책을 수립하였으며, 하천정비, 펌프장 설치 등 구조적 저감대책 90건, 6,362억원과 재난예·경보시스템 구축 및 운영관리, 하천기본계획수립 등 비구조적 저감대책 등 64건, 204억 원 등 2031년까지 향후 10년간 구조적·비구조적 저감대책에 총 154건에 6,566억 원을 투자할 계획이라고 전했다.
