[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 15일 오후 8시, 강림면은 각림건강복지센터 1층 다목적실에서 강림면 특화음식인 산초음식 전수교육 평가회를 개최하였다고 밝혔다. 

이번 교육은 강림면의 신소득작목으로 조성되는 ‘횡성 강림 치악산산초’를 이용하여 강림 대표 먹거리 개발사업의 일환으로 추진되었으며, 산초재배 사업의 다각화 및 외식산업 동반 성장의 기초를 마련하고자 열렸고, 지난 11월 29일부터 12월 15일까지 총 6회에 걸쳐 추진된 이번 교육에는 주민 20여명이 참가하였으며, 미담식생활연구소 민경애 강사를 초빙하여 산초후라이드치킨, 산초콩크로켓, 산초함박스테이크, 산초어탕 등 횡성의 농특산물을 활용한 총 10종의 산초요리 레시피를 전수 받았고, 이날 평가회는 그간 만든 음식들을 선보인 자리로, 이번 교육은 지난해에 이어 주민들에게 많은 호응을 얻었다고 전했다. 

윤관규 강림면장은 “산초 음식 전수교육은 강림면의 새로운 소득작목인 산초를 활용한 상품화를 통해 산초 유통의 기초를 마련하고 강림면 산초 재배 농가의 소득향상 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 밑거름이 될 것이다.”라고 말했다.
