이날 진행된 품평회는 코로나19 확산을 예방하기 위해 사전에 행사장 방역소독을 실시하고, 방명록 작성 및 개인 방역수칙을 철저히 준수하여 진행하였으며, 지역 농산물을 활용하여 개발된 신메뉴(당귀차, 당근차, 갓크림라떼, 비트 및 파프리카 설기, 비건 당근머핀, 고랭지배추메밀전병 등)를 한자리에 모아 객관적인 평가를 통해 지역 소득창출 및 일자리 연계를 위한 경쟁력을 평가하고 개선 방안을 논의하기 위해 진행되었다고 했다.
