[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3일부터 5일까지 크리스마스 마켓을 콘셉트로 강릉 농산물을 활용한 볼거리, 살거리, 놀거리를 한자리에서 경험할 수 있는 강릉 로컬푸드마켓이 강릉농산물도매시장(유산로68) 일원에서 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 코로나19로 축제 개최에 많은 어려움이 있었으나, 방역수칙을 준수하여 안심콜·QR체크인 등으로 방문인원 및 접종여부를 확인하여 시민들이 안심하고 즐길 수 있는 축제로 진행됐다고 했다.

이번 행사는 강릉의 대표작목으로 자리잡은 겨울딸기 및 농산물을 생산자가 직접 나와서 판매하는 직거래 장터를 개최하여 소비자가 농산물을 직접 보고 구매할 수 있는 자리가 마련됐으며, 강릉시에서 직접 개발한 강릉배와 곶감으로 만든 막걸리, 도라지 조청, 한과체험키트 등도 높은 판매율을 기록했다고 했다.

아울러 현장에서는 농산물, 가공식품에 대한 온라인 라이브커머스 판매행사를 진행하여 다양한 판매 고객층을 확보하는데 많은 도움이 됐으며, 농촌 협력단체에서 진행한 겨울딸기케이크만들기, 곶감깎기 등도 뜨거운 반응을 보였다고 했다. 

강릉시 관계자는“올해 처음으로 진행된 행사가 성황리에 마무리될 수 있어서 매우 뜻깊었으며, 강릉 농촌의 사계절을 담을 수 있도록 분기별로 다양한 축제를 개최할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
