횡성문인협회가 발간하는 횡성예술은 지역의 문인들이 문학 콘텐츠를 향유하기 위해 창간되었고, 계절별로 정기 발행하며, 12월을 맞아 발간된 겨울호에는 시와 수필, 동화, 단편소설 등 다양한 작품들이 실렸다고 했다.

횡성예술의 겨울호 발간을 기념하여 오는 8일 오후 3시, 횡성문화원에서는 시와 음악이 함께하는 인문학 강연과 북콘서트도 열린다고 전했다.

횡성문인협회가 주관하고 횡성문화재단이 주최하며 횡성군이 후원하는 이날 행사에서는 ‘그리운 바다 성산포’의 이생진 시인과 ‘저문 강에 삽을 씻고’의 정희성 시인의 시와 삶에 대한 이야기를 들을 수 있으며, 가객 신재창, 가객 현승엽의 음악 공연도 함께 펼쳐진다고 했다.
