[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도경찰청과 국정원은 보이스피싱 조직이 범행 대상으로 삼기 위하여 사용하고 있는 44,000여명의 국내인 개인정보를 확보하여 피해예방을 위한 주의 문자를 발송할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

국정원은 해외 사이버범죄조직을 추적하던 중, ‘악성 앱’을 이용하여 국내인 44,000여명의 개인 정보를 불법 수집한 사실을 파악했다고 밝혔다.

강원도경찰청은 개인정보가 유출된 사람들은 언제든지 보이스피싱의 피해자가 될 수 있다고 판단되어, 유출된 44,000여명의 사람들에게  [경고문자]를 전송하여 추가 피해를 방지하고, 피해가 의심되는 사람들은 가까운 경찰서를 방문하여 상담을 받을 것을 당부한다고 전했다.

금융기관에서 대환대출을 해 준다며 기존 대출금 상환목적으로 금전을 요구하거나, 수사기관에서 금전을 요구하는 것은 보이스피싱 범행이니 꼭 피해를 당하지 않도록 주의하기 바란다고 했다. 

강원도경찰청과 국정원은 적극적으로 협력하여 개인정보가  불법으로 수집, 유통된 부분에 대해서도 추적을 하고, 해외에서 콜센터를 운영하는 보이스피싱 조직에 대하여 끝까지 추적하여 검거하겠다고 밝혔다.
