[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 29일 오후 2시 2021 재난대응 안전한국훈련을 실시한다고 밝혔다.  

재난대응 안전한국훈련은 매년 모든 재난관리책임기관이 의무적으로 시행 하며, 재난발생 시 매뉴얼에 기초한 초기대응 및 사후수습 등 종합적 재난 대응체계를 구축하기 위해 실시한다고 했다.

올해는 코로나19의 영향으로 현장훈련을 토론훈련으로 대체하며, 매뉴얼에 따른 형식적 발표를 지양하고 실제 재난 상황에서 장애 및 갈등 요인 등 현실적으로 발생 가능한 문제를 해결하는 데 초점을 둘 계획이라고 했다.

강릉시 동북동쪽 3km 지역에서 발생한 규모 5.3의 지진으로인해 강릉아트센터에 대형화재가 발생하는 복합재난 상황을 설정하고, 현실감 있는 문제해결형 토론훈련으로 진행한다고 했다.

훈련에 참가한 13개 협업기능반과 경찰서, 소방서, 한국전력공사 강릉지사, 한국가스안전공사 강원영동지사는 재난대응 행동 매뉴얼에 따라 각 기관별 임무와 역할을 점검해 문제해결 능력을 향상하고자 한다고 했다.

최용규 재난안전과장은“재난대응력은 평소 훈련이 중요한 만큼 내실있게 다지고, 이번 토론훈련을 통해 도출된 미비점을 수정·보완해 재난대응역량을 강화하겠다”고 말했다.
