[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 10월 26일부터 10월 29일까지 4일간 원주지방환경청은 환경분야 주요 재난상황에 대비한 2021 재난대응 안전한국훈련을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

올해 훈련은 행정안전부 방침에 따라 코로나19 상황을 고려하여 현장훈련이 아닌 토론훈련 형태 위주로 진행할 예정이라고 전했다.

중점훈련으로는 오는 26일과 28일 사흘에 걸쳐 식용수 오염사고, 유해화학물질 유출사고, 대규모 수질오염사고 등 재난 유형별 초기대응태세 확립을 위한 분야별 토론(도상)형 훈련을 실시한다고 했다.

훈련 마지막날인 29일에는 청사 내 화재상황을 가정하여 불시 화재대피 및 자위소방대 임무 수행 등 무각본 자체 소방훈련을 실시하여 화재 시 초기대응능력을 제고할 계획이라고 했다.

이창흠 원주지방환경청장은 ”코로나19로 인해 올해 훈련 규모가 축소되었지만 재난관련 유관기관 및 부서가 협업하여 재난발생시 신속·정확하게 대응하고 재난대응역량을 키우는 내실있는 훈련이 되도록 노력하겠다“고 밝혔다.
