[장선희 기자 = 경기북부]  지난 5월 6일과 7일 양일간 송산3동 지역사회보장협의체가 어버이날을 맞이하여취약계층 만 80세 이상 홀몸 어르신 50가구에 리본 카네이션과 카네이션 화분, 선물꾸러미를 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 가족의 따뜻함을 기념하는 5월에 가족의 정, 사람 사이의 소통이 그리운 홀몸 어르신들을 위하여 마련됐다. 특히, 올해 카네이션 전달 사업에는 지역 내 ‘민락 다함께 돌봄센터’ 이용 아동들이 함께 참여하여 고사리 같은 손으로 홀로 계실 어르신들을 위해 리본 카네이션을 만들어 전달했다고 말했다.

아이들이 만든 리본 카네이션을 받은 한 어르신은 “고운 아이들이 고운 것을 만들어 주었다.”며 “살면서 아이들이 만든 카네이션을 받을 날이 있을 줄 몰랐는데, 너무 고맙다.”눈시울을 붉히기도 하셨다.

백동철 송산3동 지역사회보장협의체 위원장은 “가족의 달, 홀로 보내실 어르신들에게 작은 위로가 되었길 바라며, 아이들이 만든 시들지 않는 카네이션처럼 우리 주위 어려운 분들에게 시들지 않는 봄을 선물하기 위해 앞으로도 계속 지역복지사업을 이어가겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
