[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 의정부시 송산3동 지역사회보장협의체는 4월부터 코로나19의 장기화로 경제적 어려움과 우울감 등을 경험하는 관내 취약계층을 대상으로 심리적 안정감 지원과 위기상황 해소를 위한 반려식물 및 복지 상담 서비스를 지원한다고 밝혔다.

반려식물은 코로나19로 외부 활동이 어려워지면서 원예 취미의 개념에 동반자의 개념이 더해져 정서적 교감을 나누며 실내에서 우울감을 해소할 수 있는 방안이 되고 있다고 말했다.

 
송산3동 지역사회보장협의체는 민·관을 연결하는 창구 역할을 하는 통장협의회의 협조를 바탕으로 위기가구를 발굴하고 해당 가구에 심층 상담과 더불어 반려식물을 지원하여 맞춤형 복지서비스 제공과 함께 심리방역을 지원하는 사업이라고 설명했다고 전했다.
