[김택곤 기자=정선군] 정선군스키협회가 주최하고 정선군 체육회가 주관하는 제2회 아리아리스노우챔피온쉽 대회가 2월 18일부터 19일까지 하이원 리조트에서 이틀간 개최된다.

하이원리조트 아폴로6 슬로프에서 개최되는 이번 대회에는 전국의 스키 및 스노우보드 아마추어 선수 400여 명이 참가해 그동안 갈고 닦은 기량을 겨룰 예정이다.

이번 대회는 18일에는 스키 남여 평행대회전 경기가 19일에는 스노보드 남여 평행대홰전과 알파인보드, 프리스타일 경기가 개최되며, 오전 10시에 예선전을 시작으로 16강 토너먼트 방식으로 진행된다. 

김재성 문화체육과장은 이번 대회를 통하여 전국 최고의 동계스포츠 도시이자 정선군에 방문하신 많은 스키, 스노우보드 동호인들이 국민고향 정선의 정취를 마음껏 즐기길 바란다며, 앞으로도 스키와 스노우보드를 비롯한 동계스포츠 발전에 최선을 다하겠다고 밝혔다.
