[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 동해안 남부 앞바다에 풍랑주의보가 발효 중인 가운데 삼척 해안가 항구에서 너울성 파도로 어선이 전복되는 등 피해가 잇따랐다.

삼척시는 지난 23일부터 오늘(24일) 오전까지 너울성 파도가 해안가를 덮치면서 대진항을 비롯해 궁촌항, 장호항, 초곡항, 갈남항 4개 항에 정박중인 어선 3척이 전복되고 7척이 반파되는 피해가 발생한 것으로 집계됐다고 전했다.

또한, 대진항에서는 수산물 저온저장시설 2개동에서 유리창 등이 파손됐지만 인명 피해는 없는 것으로 파악됐다. 오후 1시기준 동해남부 앞바다에 풍랑특보가 발효된 가운데 풍속 9.4~16m/s, 파고 5~6m/s로 추가 피해도 우려되고 있다.

기상청은 "동해먼바다와 남해동부바깥먼바다는 모레(26일)까지, 그 밖의 해상은 내일(25일)까지 바람이 매우 강하게 불고, 물결이 2.0~7.0m로 매우 높게 일겠으니 항해나 조업하는 선박은 각별히 유의해야 한다."고 당부했다
