[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군은 산업통상자원부와 한국에너지공단이 주관하는 2023년 신재생에너지 융복합지원사업‘에 공모한다고 밝혔다.

지역 일반 주택을 중심으로 상가와 공장 등 448여개소에 태양광·지열 등의 신재생에너지를 보급하기 위해 추진하는 이번 사업의 신청규모는 약 50억원(국비 50%, 군비 30%, 자부담 20%)이다.

주택(무허가 제외)의 경우 3kw, 태양열은 6㎡, 지열은 17.5kw까지 신청 가능하며, 군은 신재생에너지 시설 설치를 원하는 주민을 대상으로 지난 7월 6일까지 접수를 진행했고 8월 5일 경주더케이호텔에서 개최되는 공개평가에 참석하였으며, 8월 23일 한국에너지공단 평가위원 2명이 현장평가를 실시했고 향후 추진일정은 한국에너지공단이 9월말에 사업비·사업계획서를 조정 후 사업대상자 확정을 위한 총괄 평가를 진행하며, 오는 10월초에는 사업대상자를 확정할 예정이다. 

안수남 경제투자과장은 "연속사업으로 올해까지 국비·군비 약 35억원의 예산을 투입해 관내 404개소에 신재생에너지를 보급했으며, 이번 사업을 통해 에너지 비용 절감 및 온실가스 감축 등의 효과가 기대 된다며 지역 주민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다"고 말했다.
