[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 평창군은 문화도시 사업의 일환으로 관내 초·중·고 학생들이 그동안 갈고닦은 재능을 한자리에서 선보일 수 있는 ‘평창 꿈나무 음악회’를 지난 17일 16시 무이예술관 조각공원에서 개최했다. 

주민이 주체가 되어 문화를 만들어가는 문화도시 사업으로 올해로 2회를 맞는 ‘평창 꿈나무 음악회’는 관내 국립평창청소년수련원, 평창문화도시재단, 평창청소년문화의집 등에서 다양한 프로그램에 참여했다.

청소년들과 지역예술인, 초대가수 등이 함께 참여하여 1부 “엄마, 아빠 사랑해요”, 2부 “고맙다, 사랑한다”라는 주제로 진행되었으며, 공연이 끝난 후에는 어린이, 청소년들을 위한 간식과 다채로운 경품행사가 진행되었다.

한편 행사가 개최된 무이예술관은 1956년 개교해 1999년 폐교된 옛 무이초등학교로 2001년 4월 ‘폐교살리기’ 프로젝트의 일환으로 다시 문을 열었으며, 국내에서는 유일하게 21년째 폐교된 학교가 예술관으로 명맥을 이어오고 있는 곳이기도 하다.
