또한 제주 자연·생태 탐방과 환경·자연 활동을 통하여 청소년 주도 활동 “우리가 만드는 자연생태 지도” 평창 가이드북을 만들고자 하며, 제주의 다양한 지역을 탐방하여 내 고장과 다른 자연생태를 경험할 수 있는 기회의 장 마련과 스스로 기획하고 운영하는 주도적 활동이 가능할 수 있는 프로그램으로 탐방의 계기를 마련했다고 했다. 

이번에 참가하는 청소년은 지난 5월 심층 면접을 통하여 15명을 선발했으며, 관내 5개 중고등학교 학생으로 구성됐다고 전했다.

김순란 가족복지과장은 “청소년 드림꾸러미 ESD 문화탐방을 통해 참가 청소년들이 자연・생태 활동을 진행하며, 지속가능 발전 교육을 통한 국제사회의 목표 탐구와 제주의 다양한 문화・자연들을 경험할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대한다.”며, “평창군 청소년들이 주도활동을 통해 올바른 가치관을 가진 군민으로 더 크게 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”고 말했다.
