[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 평창군과 평창문화도시재단에서는 ‘프렌치살롱, 빛의 화가들展’을  9월1일부터 10월30일까지 봉평콧등작은미술관에서 개최한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 전시회는 교과서에도 자주 등장하는 프랑스 인상주의 화가의 작품들로, 19세기 전통적인 회화 기법을 거부하고 색채, 색조, 질감 그 자제에 관심을 둔 대표적인 인상파 화가 모네, 드가, 르누아르의 레플리카 전시를 선보인다.

비록 레플리카展이지만 실물과 같은 크기이고, 최대한의 원작의 느낌이 살아있는 작품으로서 그 시대의 감각을 느낄 수 있고, 실제 작품들이 전시된 파리의 오르세미술관 느낌을 가질 수 있도록 전시장을 구성하였다. 

재단관계자는 ‘이번 기획전시는 지역주민들이 멀리 가지 않아도 내가 사는 지역에서, 교과서에 나와는 인상주의 화가의 작품을 볼 수 있다는 의미가 있으며, 앞으로도 기획 전시는 흔히 볼 수 없는 작품들로 구성할 계획이다.’고 전했다.
