[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 9월 23일부터 25일까지 국내 최대규모의 독서문화 축제인‘2022 대한민국 독서대전’이 ‘책으로 ON 일상’이라는 주제로 ‘책의 도시’ 원주에서 열린다고 밝혔다.

이번 독서대전은 책을 통해 신선한 해방감을 느낄 수 있도록 도서관과 출판사·독서단체 120여 곳, 전 국민이 참여한 가운데 진행될 예정이며 오는 9월 23일 원주 댄싱공연장에서 열리는 개막식을 시작으로 25일까지 학술, 강연, 공연, 전시, 체험 등 6개 부문 30여 개 프로그램을 운영한다.

‘책과 독서, 우리는 왜 책을 읽어야 하는가’라는 질문에서 시작하는 5가지 학술/토론과 북토크, 인문학 강연 콘서트, 시민 작가로 이루어진 ‘나도 작가다, 작가 버스킹’ 등 다양한 작가들의 강연·공연을 통해 독자와 소통하는 모습을 만나볼 수 있으며 ‘대한민국 독서대전, 원주를 거닐다’, ‘고판화 옛 그림책’과 같은 특별 전시를 통해 다양한 책의 모습도 볼 수 있다.

온 가족이 함께하는 인형극 공연, 야간 독서체험 프로그램 등 책을 사랑하는 시민이면 누구나 참여할 수 있는 다양한 볼거리와 즐길거리도 마련돼 있으며 안전한 독서축제를 위해 온·오프라인에서 동시에 진행되고, 독서대전 유튜브 채널에서 생중계되며 프로그램 일정과 참여 방법 등 자세한 내용은 ‘2022 대한민국 독서대전' 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.

독서대전 관계자는 “독서대전을 통해 많은 국민들이 다채로운 독서문화 행사를 즐기고 책과 관련된 즐거운 경험을 쌓기를 바란다”라고 말했다.
