[김준호 기자 = 평창군] 장기 미집행 도시계획도로 보상 및 개설사업은 평창군 내 44개 노선의 노선길이 약 9.6km에 이르는 사업으로, 총사업비 약 560억 원으로 주민 편의 증진에 중요한 핵심 사업으로 손꼽힌다.

평창군청 도시과는 최근 장기 미집행 군 계획시설(도시계획도로) 보상 및 개설 업무에 속도를 낸다.  2020년 6월 실시계획 인가 고시 이후 진행해오던 장기 미집행 군 계획시설(도시계획도로) 보상 및 개설사업은 3개 노선을 보상 및 개설 완료하였고, 현재 2개 노선이 공사 진행 중이며 나머지 노선은 토지 및 지장물 등에 대한 보상 단계에 있다.

장기 미집행 도시계획도로 보상 및 개설사업은 수많은 토지 및 지장물 소유자와 일부 주민들의 민원과 요구사항이 있어 사업 진행이 쉽지 않은 것은 사실이나, 군은 이러한 점을 감안하여 오는 2025년까지 사업 (일부)완료를 목표로 기존 전담 인력 1명에서 최근 2명을 충원했으며, 부서장의 전폭적인 관심과 지원 아래 함께 힘을 합쳐 목표 달성을 위해 업무추진에 만전을 기하고 있다.
