[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시와 한국미술협회 강릉지부는 지역 미술 활성화를 위해 강릉아트페어(아트강릉22)를 13일부터 오는 19일까지 강릉아트센터 전시실에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.

올해로 2년째를 맞이하는 아트강릉22는 지역작가 20명의 400여 점의 한국화, 서양화, 조소 등의 작품을 작가와 소비자 간 직접 거래가 이뤄지는 새로운 형태 직거래 미술시장으로, 강릉시민은 합리적인 가격으로 지역작가의 작품을 직접 보고 구매할 수 있다고 했다.

특히, 이번 행사는 그동안 코로나19로 침체된 지역 미술계에 활력을 불어넣어 주고, 시민들의 예술 향유 증진에 기여할 것으로 기대된다고 전했다.

강릉시 관계자는“이번 강릉아트페어(아트강릉22) 개최가 문화·예향의 도시 강릉의 이미지 제고 및 코로나19로 지친 시민들에게 조금이나마 위안이 되길 바란다.”고 말했다.
