[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시는 주요 정책 결정이나 예산집행 사업을 중점관리 대상 사업으로 선정해 관련 기록을 시민에게 공개하는 정책실명제를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

지난 2021년부터 연중 상시 접수가 가능한 국민신청실명제의 운영 활성화를 위해 적극적인 홍보도 실시할 방침이고 국민신청실명제는 시정에 관심있는 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 신청 방법은 시 홈페이지 '국민신청실명제' 코너에서 서식을 내려받아 이메일 또는 우편·방문 접수로 신청할 수 있다고 했다.

접수된 사업은 동해시 정책실명제 심의위원회의 심의를 거쳐 대상사업으로 선정되고 해당 사업내역서는 시 홈페이지 '정책실명제' 코너에 공개되며, 시는 지난해 50건을 포함해 최근 5년간 총 197건을 공개하고 126건의 중점관리 대상사업을 분기별로 현행화했으며  2022년 신규사업을 추가 발굴해 중점관리 대상사업으로 선정한 후 관련 기록을 지속적으로 공개·관리할 계획이라고 전했다.

강성국 행정과장은 “국민신청실명제의 상시 운영으로 시정에 대한 시민들의 알 권리 확대 및 시정에 대한 신뢰향상을 기대하며 앞으로도 정책실명제를 내실 있게 운영하도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
