[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 4일 오전 10시, 횡성제일감리교회는 횡성제일감리교회 창립 43주년을 맞이하여 지역사회와의 나눔을 실천하고자 교회 인근지역 4개리(입석, 가담1,2, 청용리) 지역의 저소득층 140가구에 라면 1박스씩 전달하는 행사를 가졌다고 밝혔다. 

이번 전달식은 교인들이 모은 성금 4백여만원으로 직접 구입하여 전달하였으며, 횡성읍 행정복지센터를 통해 도움이 필요한 대상자를 선정하였다고 했다. 

방인석 목사는“계속되는 코로나로 모두들 힘든 상황이지만 하나님을 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하는 일은 계속돼야 한다. 앞으로도 교회가 지역사회와 함께 하면서 하나님의 사랑을 실천해나가겠다.”고 말했다.
