[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 18일 오후2시, 홍천읍지역사회보장협의체는 홍천읍행정복지센터 대회의실에서 2022년 제1차 운영회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 회의에서 새로이 위촉된 위원에게 위촉장을 전달하고, 2021년 홍천읍 찾아가는 보건복지부서와 홍천읍 지역사회보장협의체의 활동내역을 담은 '홍천읍 행복나눔 이야기' 책자를 통해 지난해 추진한 사업 결과를 보고했으며, 또한 2022년 상반기 특화사업 선정을 위한 논의를 통해 국민기초생활보장가정의 초등학교 입학생에게 책가방 및 학용품을 지원하는 '꿈을 담은 책가방' 사업, 중학교 입학생에게 신발을 지원하는 '희망찬 첫걸음' 사업 등 9개 사업을 추진하기로 확정했다고 전했다.

한인용 홍천읍장은 ”적극적으로 관심을 갖고 참여를 해주신 위원님들께 감사드리고, 올 한해도 홍천읍지역사회보장협의체를 더욱 활성화하여 주민들의 다양한 복지 서비스 욕구를 충족시킬 수 있도록 함께 노력하자”고 말했다.

김명숙 민간위원장은 “생활이 어려운 이웃을 발굴하고 지원하기 위해서는 협의체 위원의 역할이 크다며 더 나은 복지를 위해 위원들과 함께 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
