[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 14일까지 강릉시는 농가 소득안정을 위해 농지소재지 읍·면·동 주민센터를 통해 논활용(논이모작) 직불금 신청을 받는다고 밝혔다.

대상은 농업경영정보를 등록한 농업인·농업법인으로, 지난해 농업 외 종합소득 3,700만 원 미만이고, 농지면적이 1,000㎡ 이상이고 지급대상 품목은 논에서 재배하는 식량 및 사료작물로서 전년도 10월부 6월 말 이전까지 수확이 가능하여 이모작 재배를 할 수 있는 품목이라고 했다.

논활용(논이모작) 직불금은 논을 활용·관리하는 농업인의 소득안정은 물론 식량·사료작물 자급률 제고를 위해 ㏊당 50만원을 지원하며, 올해 12월 중에 직불금을 지급할 예정이라고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“대상 농가는 반드시 신청기간 내에 잊지말고 직불금을 신청하시길 바란다”고 말했다.
