[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 2월 11일, 홍천군은 군수집무실에서 제2대 홍천군 청소년의회 활동 우수자 청소년의원 이윤서, 김소민, 김수아 3명을 표창을 수여하고, 청소년의회 활동에 성실히 참여하며 활발한 제안을 함으로써 안건이 발굴되기까지의 공로를 인정하고 치하했다고 밝혔다.

청소년의회는 총 13명의 의원으로 구성된 청소년 제안기구로서 지난 해 2021년 6월 발대식을 시작으로 군 청소년 정책 발굴·제안을 함으로써 청소년의 자치권 확대와 참여권 보장을 위한 역할을 하였다고 전했다.

총 3회기 운영을 통해 2가지 안건이 가결되었고, 첫 번째 안건으로는 청소년의 건강권 보장을 위한 흡연 문제 해결, 두 번째는 청소년 학습권 보장을 위한 학습공간 마련에 대한 것으로 두 가지 안건을 통해 청소년에게 실질적으로 필요한 정책이 발굴되었다고 했다.

군 관계자는 “위 두가지 안건에 대하여 군정에 적극 반영하여 청소년들이 건강하고 밝게 성장할 수 있는 다양한 정책이 계속 나올 수 있도록 지원하고 앞으로도 청소년의 주도적인 참여 기회 확대와 역량강화를 위하여 힘쓰겠다”고 전했다.
