[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  지난 19일 11시, 횡성군은우천초등학교에서 우천면 도시재생예비사업의 일환으로 연구개발 및 제작된 쇠목골 마을문화공부책 ‘아기자기 우천’ 250부를 아동들의 학습을 위해 활용해 달라며 기증했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 코로나19 방역 수칙을 철저히 준수한 가운데 조관식 횡성군 도시교통과장, 김인중 우천초등학교장, 송재익 쇠목골 주민협의체 사무국장을 비롯하여 각 관계자들이 참여했다고 전했다.

이번 기증은 우천면의 초등학생들에게 자신이 거주하는 마을에 대한 이해도와 공동체 의식을 높이고 마을에 대해 배워가는 과정이 도시재생을 이해하고 참여하는 것임을 알리고자 마련되었고, 기증된 마을문화공부책은 우천초등학교 2~3학년 학생들을 대상으로 활용될 예정이라고 했다.
