이용 기간은 아동출생일로부터 1년간이며 유흥업소, 레저 및 사행업종, 위생업종(이미용실 제외), 전자상거래 상품권, 면세점 등 지급목적에서 벗어난 유형으로 분류된 업종을 제외한 전 업종에서 사용 가능하다고 했다.

읍면동 주민센터 방문 신청은 2022년 1월 3일부터 가능하며, 온라인 신청은 1월 5일부터 가능하고, 바우처는 제도 시행을 위한 준비를 거쳐 2022년 4월 25일부터 지급될 예정이며, 이로 인해 지급이 늦어지는 1~3월생의 경우 23년 3월 31일까지 사용 가능하다고 전했다.
