[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강릉시는 ‘재활용가능자원의 분리수거 등에 관한 지침’개정으로 올해 연말부터 변화하는 분리수거 체계에 따라 투명페트병 별도배출 시행을 기존 의무관리단지 공동주택에서 단독주택, 상가 등으로 전면 확대 시행한다고 밝혔다.

매주 화요일 투명페트병 별도배출 요일제를 시행함에 따라 단독주택, 상가 등에서는 투명페트병을 화요일 일몰 후부터 자정까지 배출하면 된다고 했다.

배출 방법은 내용물을 비우고 헹구는 등 이물질을 제거하고 라벨 제거 후 압착하여 뚜껑을 닫아 안의 내용물을 확인할 수 있는 투명 또는 반투명 봉투에 담아 배출하면 된다고 했다.

강릉시는 작년 12월 25일 의무관리단지 공동주택 투명페트병 별도배출 의무 시행에 앞서 9월부터 시범사업을 운영하는 등 사전대응을 통해 신규 재활용 정책에 안정적 대응을 한 바 있다고 전했다.
