[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 13일 원주 기업도시 정주 여건 향상을 위해 건립을 추진해 온 샘마루도서관이 착공한다고 밝혔다.

샘마루도서관은 총사업비 123억 원을 들여 지하 1층·지상 2층, 연면적 2,876㎡ 규모로 지정면 가곡리 1530-2번지 기업도시 중심에 건립되고, 동절기 공사 중지 기간을 거쳐 내년 봄부터 본격적인 공사에 들어가 11월 준공할 예정이라고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “그동안 부족했던 기업도시 내 기반 시설 확충으로 지역 활성화를 가속화 할 것으로 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
