이는 대통령 주재 특별방역점검회의 결과로 단계적 일상회복(11.1~)이후 집단감염 발생 증가추세에 따라 노인여가복지시설 방역강화 및 신속한 추가 접종 완료를 위함이며, 이에따라 경로당은 백신 3차접종을 완료한 어르신만 이용할 수 있고 경로당 내 취식금지를 실시하며 경로당 회장 및 총무 등 경로당 방역책임자와 노인 일자리 사업단 중 경로당 운영관리도우미 참여자는 3차접종 필수대상자로 지정한다고 했다. 

단, 불가피한 사유로 접종이 어려운 경우 1주 간격으로 PCR 검사를 실시해야 한다고 전했다.

강릉시는 12월 중 경로당 순회 점검(총 개소)을 통해 신속한 3차 접종 완료를 지속적으로 독려할 예정이라고 전했다.
