[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 29일부터 오는 12월 8일까지 강릉시는 총 4회(매주 월, 수)에 걸쳐 농촌체험관광 운영자(농촌체험휴양마을 사무장 및 농촌교육농장주) 대상으로 강릉 로컬푸드 식재료를 활용한 푸트테라피 교육을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 위드코로나 시대를 맞아 면역력 증진의 중요성이 재조명되면서 농촌체험관광 운영자들이 향토음식 문화를 이해하고 치유를 돕는 건강요리 학습을 통해 푸드테라피로 활용할 수 있는 역량을 키우며, 향후 농촌이 가지고 있는 다양한 자원과 연계한 농촌체험 프로그램 운영으로 새로운 농촌관광서비스를 제공하는데 도움을 주고자 계획했다고 했다.

특히, ‘면역력을 지키는 강릉음식’을 주제로 교육을 진행하여 코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 교육생들의 몸과 마음을 치유하고, 나아가 농촌을 찾는 관광객들에게 건강한 식재료를 이용하여 안전한 먹거리를 제공해 줌으로써 농촌관광산업에 활력을 불어넣을 예정이라고 했다.

강릉시 관계자는“코로나19로 어려움에 처한 농촌체험관광 운영자들이 푸드테라피 교육으로 우리 지역의 식문화를 이해하고 치유를 돕는 요리 활용을 통해 위드코로나 시대 농촌관광산업이 활성화 되기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
