[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 평창군이 승강기 안전사고 예방을 위해 적극적인 홍보활동을 추진하고 있다고 밝혔다.

당초 군은 주민들과 승강기관리자 등을 대상으로 실전 훈련을 진행할 예정이었으나, 코로나19 감염예방을 위해 관련 스티커 배부 및 온라인 홍보 등을 추진하는 것으로 대체하여 진행했다고 전했다.

군 안전교통과에서는 승강기 내·외부에 부착할 승강기 바닥표시안전이용 표지, 비상통화장치 안내, 문 주의 안내 등이 담긴 안전 스티커를 제작해 각 읍·면사무소를 통해 지역 내에 있는 승강기 관리자들에게 배부하고, 또한, 관리주체의 관리 부실에 따른 사고예방을 위해 승강기 사고배상 책임보험 가입, 안전관리자 선임 및 교육 이수, 안전검사 이행 등 관리주체의 의무사항 등을 안내하고, 청사 내 전광판 및 군 홈페이지를 통한 승강기 안전홍보영상 송출, SNS를 통한 홍보 등 다양한 매체를 통한 홍보도 함께 추진할 계획이라고 했다.

심재호 안전교통과장은 “이번 홍보활동을 계기로 승강기 안전문화를 정착시키고 이용자 안전에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
