세척시설, 소독시설, 대인 소독시설, 제어실 등을 갖춰 국가가축방역통합시스템(KAHIS)의 GPS 기반 시스템을 활용한 거점 소독·세척시설 음성 안내와 소독필증 자동 발급이 가능하다고 했다.

원주시 관계자는 “가축전염병 발생 시 신속한 차단방역 조치에 따른 질병 확산 방지는 물론 상시 방역체계 구축으로 지역 축산농가의 피해를 최소화할 수 있을 것”이라며, “축산농가에서도 축사 내·외부 소독과 야생동물 접근 차단 등 차단방역에 최선을 다해달라”고 당부했다.
