[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평소방서는 119 응급처치 영상 공모전에서 가평소방서 조종여성의용소방대가 대한적십자회장상을 수상했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 공모전은 국민이 직접 응급처치 영상 제작에 참여하여 생명존중 문화 확산 및 안전교육 홍보 콘텐츠 발굴을 위한 공모전이며, 전국 333팀이 참여하여 최종 선정으로 17개 작품이 선정이 되어 참가자 모두가 안전에 대한 뜨거운 관심을 보여줬다고 했다.

조종여성소방대원 4명(박미영 반장, 이정운 반장, 심선영 대원, 임정오 대원)은 “용기 있는 당신은 생명지킴이”라는 제목으로 일상생활에서 발생할 수 있는 상황을 연출, 신나는 율동에 맞춰 누구나 쉽게 심폐소생술을 배울 수 있는 심폐소생술 교육·홍보영상을 제작해 대한적십자회장상을 수상했으며, 수상은 11월 말 ~ 12월 초 중으로 소방청 소강당에서 이뤄질 예정이라고 전했다.

구본현 가평소방서장은 “겨울은 뇌혈관질환과 심정지 발생이 증가하는 시기이다, 심장이 멎었을 때 4분 이내 심폐소생술을 하면 생존율을 90%까지 높일 수 있다.”라며 “앞으로도 다양한 교육․홍보 방법을 강구하여  환자의 소생률을 높일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
