[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 3일 양주시는 평생학습동아리 지원 사업에 선정된 15개 동아리를 대상으로 2021년 우수 평생학습동아리 지원 사업 설명회를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 사업설명회는 평생학습동아리 지원 사업 안내, 세부적인 예산 집행방법, 코로나19에 따른 동아리 운영방침, 애로사항에 대한 맞춤형 컨설팅 등의 순으로 진행했다고 했다. 

양주시는 평생학습동아리 지원 사업에 선정된 15개 동아리에 6월부터 11월까지 동아리 운영에 따른 강사료, 재료비, 교재비 등을 지원하며, 시에서 주최하는 평생학습 축제 등 관련 행사에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 계획이라고 전했다.

서예, 미술활동, 악기연주, 드론 축구, 원예, 바리스타 등 다양한 분야로 구성된 우수 평생학습동아리는 심화학습과 재능 나눔을 통해 개인적 성장과 사회적 실천 활동으로 지속 가능한 학습공동체 활성화에 기여할 전망이라고 했다.

양주시 관계자는 “학습동아리 활동은 평생학습공동체 형성의 가장 기본적인 핵심”이라며 “학습동아리가 학습공동체로서 지역의 학습문화를 이끌어가는 중추적인 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
