[김현우 기자 = 양주] 양주시는 오는 3월 4일 경기섬유종합지원센터 대강당에서 2024학년도 대학입시의 이해를 돕기 위해 ‘2023년 제1차 대학입시설명회’를 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.

이번 입시설명회는 코로나19 사회적 거리두기 해제에 따라 관내 수험생과 학부모를 대상으로 대면 집합설명회 방식으로 진행하며 현장 참석이 어려운 수험생과 학부모를 위해 양주시 공식 유튜브 채널 ‘628년 양주’에서 온라인으로 동시 송출한다.

이날 설명회는 최근 팟캐스트 ‘입시왕’을 통해 펜타킬이라는 닉네임으로 대입 전문 컨설팅을 실시하고 있는 최승해 소장을 초빙해 많은 변화가 예고된 2024학년도 대입전형에 대한 설명과 분석, 수시·정시 등 지원유형별 입시 전략에 대한 정보를 제공할 예정이다. 

관내 수험생과 학부모를 비롯해 대학입시에 관심있는 시민 누구나 사전 예약 없이 참여할 수 있으며, 설명회 관련 자세한 사항은 양주시 교육체육과 교육정책팀으로 문의하면 안내받을 수 있다.

양주시 관계자는 “대입환경의 급격한 변화에 대응해 수험생과 학부모들이 유명강사의 강의를 통해 최신 입시 트렌드를 읽고 맞춤형 입시전략을 수립할 수 있는 유익한 시간이 될 것”이라며 “이번 설명회 종료 후 설문조사를 통해 다양한 의견을 수렴하고 성공적인 입시를 지원하기 위한 양질의 설명회를 준비하겠다”고 밝혔다.
