점검대상은 작년 「청정계곡 복원지역 생활SOC 공모사업」대상지역인 가평천(백둔·도대·적목·제령리), 조종천(운악리), 벽계천(가일리)에 설치되어 있는 개인하수처리시설 255개소라고 했다. 

가평군은 하수도사업소장 외 4명의 점검반을 편성하여 특별점검계획을 수립하였으며, 집중 관리를 위한 기술지원 용역을 병행하여 추진할 예정이라고 전했다.

또한, 개인하수처리시설의 소유자에게 집중 점검기간을 대비하여 자체 시설 점검을 실시하도록 안내할 계획이며, 연 1회 이상 의무적으로 정화조 내부청소를 실시하도록 안내문을 정기적으로 발송하여 수질오염을 사전에 예방할 방침이라고 했다.

점검사항은 개인하수처리시설의 내부청소 실시, 전원 공급, 방류수 수질기준 준수, 오수 무단 방류 등이며, 점검 시 위반사항이 확인될 경우에는 행정처분을 할 계획이라고 했다.
