[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 12월까지 포천시노인복지관은 문화체육관광부와 한국문화예술교육진흥원, 한국노인종합복지관협회에서 지원하는 ‘2021년 복지기관 문화예술교육지원사업 미술반’을 진행한다고 밝혔다. 

미술반은 미술교육 활동을 통해 문화예술에 대한 관심과 지식을 습득하고 함께 향유함으로써 어르신들의 사회성과 자긍심을 고취시키기 위해 계획됐다고 했다.

교육 활동은 총 35회기다. ‘나를 이야기하다!, 이웃을 이야기하다!, 세상을 이야기하다!’라는 주제를 가지고 다양한 미술 기법을 통한 교육이 진행되며, 코로나19 상황에 맞춰 대면 또는 온라인으로 진행할 예정이라고 했다. 

이종범 관장은 “어르신들이 미술활동을 통해 미술에 대한 관심을 넘어 사회 구성원으로서 세상과 소통하는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠다.”라고 전했다. 

한편, 교육 활동을 통해 만들어진 미술작품들은 포천시노인복지관 2층 상시 전시관 ‘복지관 옆 미술관’을 통해 상시 전시할 예정이며, 코로나19 상황에 맞춰 포천시노인복지관 유튜브 채널 및 온라인복지관 홈런을 통해 온라인 전시회 ‘ON-ART’로 전시할 계획이라고 했다.
