[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 9일 포천시노인복지관은 남성 의류 도매업체인 동신사로부터 약 1억 2,900만 원 상당의 남성 의류 13,898장을 후원받았다고 밝혔다. 

후원받은 의류는 지난 9일부터 11일까지 약 3일에 걸쳐 포천시 지역 및 경기도 내 아동·청소년·장애인·노인 등 복지시설에 전달되어 취약계층 세대에 지원되었다고 했다. 

이종범 관장은 “코로나19로 어려움을 겪고 있는 시기에 마음 따뜻한 물품을 지원받아 취약계층 세대에게 도움을 줄 수 있게 되어 기쁘다.”라고 말했다. 

포천시노인복지관은 앞으로도 지속적인 지역사회 자원을 마련해 포천시 어르신들을 위한 다양한 복지서비스를 제공할 계획이라고 전했다.
