[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 21일 현지에서 서태원 군수를 비롯한 군의회 의장 및 도․군의원, 지역단체장, 학부모 및 영유아 등 30여명이 참석한 가운데 국공립 조종하나어린이집 준공식을 개최했다.

조종하나어린이집은 저출산 문제해결과 여성의 경제참여율 제고를 위한 민관협력 지원사업으로, 지난 2021년 ‘국공립 어린이집’공모사업에 선정돼 추진하게 됐다.

가평군은 같은 해 9월 하나금융그룹과 국공립 어린이집 건립지원에 따른 업무협약을 체결하고 행정절차 등을 거쳐 작년 7월 공사에 착공 후, 이날 준공식을 갖게 됐다.

총 사업비는 27억3200만원으로 국비 4억7000만원, 도비 2억3500만원, 군비 5억1500만원, 하나금융이 15억1200만원을 각각 분담했다.

조종하나어린이집은 연면적 658.92㎡의 지상 1층 건물로 보육실 7개를 비롯해 유희실, 원장실, 교사실, 조리실, 교구보관실 등을 갖춰 양질의 보유서비스 제공 및 건강한 보육환경 조성이 기대된다. 또 점자안내판 및 도움 벨 등 장애인 편의시설도 마련됐다. 

조종하나어린이집은 보육정원이 54명에 교직원은 10명이다.

이날 준공식에서 서 군수는 기념사를 통해 “하나금융그룹과 손을 잡고 국공립 조종하나어린이집을 건립하게 된 것을 매우 기쁘게 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 민관 협력을 통한 예산절감은 물론 아이 키우기 좋은 도시를 만들어 나가는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 가평군은 올해 건강한 성장환경 조성을 위한 아동복지서비스 강화를 위해 가평, 설악, 청평, 조종 등 4개소 다함께돌봄센터 및 지역아동센터 운영 지원을 비롯해 실내 25종, 실외 4종의 놀이시설을 갖춘 어린이 음악놀이터 등을 운영한다.

특히 청평면에 지하1층, 지상2층 연면적 990㎡ 규모의 생활권역별 어린이 놀이체험시설 및 안전체험교실 조성사업도 추진하고 지역아동센터 및 그룹홈 운영 지원, 아동보호전문기관 운영비 지원 등 아동복지시설 관리에 만전을 기울여 나갈 방침이다.

아울러 140여 명의 아동을 대상으로 요보호아동 양육 및 자립정착 지원을 비롯해 아동학대 조사 및 학대예방 사업, 학대피해아동 보호사업 추진과 아동사례관리 및 아동에 적합한 필수·맞춤형 종합서비스인 취약계층 아동통합서비스(드림스타트) 운영 등을 추진한다.
