[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시가 시비 54억 원을 투입하여 시 자체 사업으로 '강릉형 多 가치 성장 일자리 지원사업' 을 신규 추진한다고 11일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 지역인재채용금, 근속축하금, 희망나눔공제 패키지 지원을 통해 일자리 1천개 창출을 목표로 하고, 지속되는 경제 위기에서 고용 안전망 강화를 위해 도입됐다.

기존 일자리 지원제도가 수혜자를 기업으로 한정했던 것에서 벗어나 근로자로 지원범위를 확대하여 지속 가능한 일자리를 창출하는 것이 가장 큰 특징이며, 도내 타 지자체와 비교했을 때 강릉시의 일자리 지원에 대한 의지를 엿볼 수 있는 대규모 사업이다.

먼저, 지역인재채용금은 기업체가 지역인재(강릉시민)를 정규직으로 신규 채용하거나 정규직으로 전환하는 경우 근로자 1인당 월 50만 원씩 최대 12개월간 기업체에 인건비를 지원하는 사업이며, 근속축하금은 지역인재채용금 대상 근로자가 동일 기업체에서 2년 근속 시 50만 원을, 3년 근속 시 100만 원을 지원하는 사업으로 2025년부터 본격 지원할 예정이다.
