[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시는 29일 시청 2층 대회의실에서 2022년 퇴직공무원 정부포상 전수식 및 명예퇴임식을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

행사는 오전 10시 퇴직공무원 정부포상 전수식과 오후 4시 명예퇴임식을 각각 나누어 진행할 예정이다. 

정부포상 전수식 및 명예퇴임식은 올해 상반기 명예퇴직자 10명 및 올해 하반기 정년퇴직자 15명, 명예퇴직자 6명 중 수상대상자 8명이 참석한 가운데 진행된다. 

김홍규 시장과 김종욱 부시장, 국단소원장 및 동료직원과 퇴직자의 가족 등이 이날 행사에 참석하여 함께 축하할 예정이다.

이번 퇴직공무원들은 공직에 몸담아 오면서 재직기간 중 공․사생활에 흠결 없이 지방행정 최일선에서 지역사회의 발전을 위해 힘써 온 공적을 인정받아 정부포상을 수상하게 됐다.

훈격별로는 홍조근정훈장 2명, 녹조근정훈장 3명, 옥조근정훈장 7명, 근정포장 3명, 국무총리표창 1명, 장관표창 2명으로 총 18명이다.

김홍규 시장은 “강릉시정 발전에 기여 하신 그동안의 노고에 깊이 감사드리며, 오랜 공직생활의 공적을 인정받아 정부포상을 받게 되는 뜻깊은 자리에 참석하게 되어 매우 기쁘다”면서 “앞으로도 현직에 계셨을 때처럼 지역사회 발전을 위하여 아낌없는 관심과 조언 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
