[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시는 시민 생활에 필요한 다양한 행정 및 공공시설 정보를 한 곳에서 쉽게 확인할 수 있는 위치 기반의 생활지도 서비스를 구축하고 오는 19일부터 강릉시 대표홈페이지에서 운영한다고 16일 밝혔다.

생활지도 서비스는 기존 설명, 주소 등 텍스트 정보로만 제공되던 12개 분야(일자리경제, 사회복지, 환경, 문화관광, 체육시설, 행정·공공, 교통, 재난안전, 교육, 보건의료, 도시관리, 바우길), 115종, 5,700여 개의 생활밀착형 데이터를 지도 위에 시각적으로 표현한다. 

예를 들어, 강릉시에 위치한 해변에 대한 정보가 필요한 경우 ‘문화관광’ 분야에서 하위항목인 ‘바다(해변)’를 선택하면 수집되어있는 데이터를 기반으로 해변의 위치가 모두 지도 위에 표시되고 각 위치에 대한 여러 정보를 확인할 수 있다.

또한, 분야별 메뉴 검색이 가능 수요자 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하고, 정책개발에 따른 데이터 추가, 위치정보 기반 각종 지표 측정 등 향후 다양하게 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

정보의 접근성, 호환성, 편리성을 위해 사용자 중심의 UI를 개발했고 PC, 모바일 등 사용자의 다양한 기기 환경 지원과 편의를 위해 반응형 웹서비스로 구축하여 시민 누구나 언제 어디서나 이용할 수 있도록 했다.

강릉시 관계자는 “서비스 운영유지의 편리성과 관리의 일원화를 위해 대표홈페이지관리시스템(CMS)에 적용, 안정적인 운영환경을 구축하고 데이터 및 위치정보를 지속적으로 업데이트해 나갈 계획이다”라고 말했다.
