[김현우 기자 = 강릉] 강릉시는 새해를 맞아 농업 환경변화에 적합한 농촌 리더의 역량을 강화하기 위한 2023년 새해 농업인 실용교육을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 내년 1월 4일부터 1월 17까지 강릉시농업기술센터 대강당에서 실시되며, 농업인 및 귀농귀촌인 등 700여 명을 대상으로 한다.

총 5분야의 10개 과정이 운영되며 농업환경 변화에 발맞춰 과수화상병 예찰 방제, 탄소중립‧미세먼지 대책 등이 반영된 최근 농업정책 방향과 연계된 교육이 추진된다.

또한, 지역특화품목 및 농업인 수요에 의한 실용기술 중심 교육과 농업소득 증대를 위한 차별화된 작목기술교육 등을 통해 핵심 영농기술을 농업인에 보급하여 자율적 대응능력 제고를 목표로 한다. 

이번 교육은 오는 1월 4일부터 현장등록 형식으로 진행되며, 전문과정 교재, 농사달력 및 영농기록장 등이 제공되고, 기타 궁금한 사항은 농업기술센터 유통지원과에 문의하면 된다.

강릉시 관계자는 “이번 교육에 많은 농업인 및 귀농귀촌인이 참여하여 농업에 필요한 실용적인 지식을 습득하고 한해 농사계획을 성공적으로 설계할 수 있기를 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
